Volume 3 No 2

When John Halford submitted the article ‘Blessed are the Dung Beetles’ it really got me thinking. I had recently been reading about a Taiwanese chap by the name of Mr. Wanchai, who started a papermaking factory. The really cool bit about the story is the fact that instead of chopping down trees to get wood pulp, he uses elephant dung as the raw pulp product. He boils, processes, and then bleaches it, resulting in spotless white paper. (I’m glad I get to write this on a laptop!)

It reminded me yet again of God’s awesome love. That he can take us, even while drowning in a cesspool of sin and apply his Son’s blood to us. We become white and spotless. No one is too dirty to be used by God, no act too vile to be unpardonable.

This is the Gospel, as preached by Christ - the good news which we proclaim through this magazine. Don’t ever let Satan con you that you are worthless and that you are too lost to be saved. From the foundations of the earth, God had a plan that included you and me as his adopted sons and daughters, as explained in Ephesians chapter 1.

Christ died for every person who ever lived. The fact that some do not yet know it does not mean they have been excluded, just that they are as yet unaware of the fact. And that is why we are offering free subscriptions to this magazine - to help spread the good news of Jesus Christ. If you would like a free subscription to Face to Face Magazine, or know of someone who would appreciate receiving a free subscription, please send us your, and/or their details (see back page for how to subscribe) and we will happily add you to our subscriber list. There are no catches, no fine print and no gimmicks. Just a free magazine in your post box or email box for as long as you would like to keep receiving it.

Enjoy reading as you enter into a deeper, more personal relationship, and better understand the amazing love God has for each one of us.
