Volume 4 No 2

The primary focus of Face to Face is leading our readers into a deeper and more personal relationship with God. He has already done everything necessary to make this relationship possible by sending his Son to die for us. This special Easter issue commemorates the amazing sacrifice that God made, proving his love and desire to be in relationship with us for eternity. We examine how we can be certain that the crucifixion and resurrection did in fact take place, as well as what this means to us today. Several other issues are dealt with as well, but there is no need for me to tell you about them - just turn the pages and read them for yourself.

I’d like to take this opportunity to personally thank those of you who have given so generously to make the publication of Face to Face possible. This magazine comes to you free of charge, but not without cost. Without your donations, we would not be able continue spreading the Good News of Jesus in this way! Many of those who need the hope offered by the Gospel cannot afford to pay for it, and through your generosity we are able to continue to offer Face to Face free of charge to all who request it.

Thanks too, to those who have taken the time out to put pen to paper (or finger to keyboard), and given us such positive feedback and good suggestions on how to make this magazine even better.

We did receive two letters complaining about the picture of a prostitute on the cover of the last issue of Face to Face. I sincerely apologise for any offence that this may have caused to sensitive readers. However, we cannot hide from this and other very real issues and pretend they do not exist. The greater body of Christ needs to continue to challenge these wrongs wherever we encounter them. It was never our intention to degrade women in any way, or to imply that this lifestyle is acceptable, but rather to highlight the fact that God’s grace applies to all people, even those that society may look down on, and to offer this good news to those who may feel hopelessly trapped.

Have a Blessed Easter, and let’s remember to focus on the important things in life; our relationship with God and those around us.
