Volume 6 No 1

As I look at my 2014 diary, I see many blank pages that have not yet been written on. A new year lies ahead of us, full of incredible and exciting opportunities. I encourage you to make it a priority to set aside time for God in your busy schedule.

Every issue of Face to Face Magazine starts with 24 blank pages and as with this issue we try to fill it with pertinent articles that help you gain a Godly perspective on your life.

There is a year’s journey ahead of us, a Long Walk to freedom from the entrapments of sin that can only be found in Christ. Through Christ’s redeeming sacrifice we can be assured of our salvation.

For some, the year ahead may look pretty hopeless and seem like a Hard Day’s Night, but read how with God’s help, nothing and no-one is without hope.

There will be times that circumstances will require you to make judgement calls. Make sure that you hear The Other Side of the Story.

But life isn’t just hardship. On the journey through 2014 there will be times to rejoice and enjoy the Good Gifts that God provides along the way.

There will be times for recreation and sport, where hopefully we will learn lessons and see similarities between Christianity and Football. And just like Michael Jordan, if we persevere and place our trust in God, we can learn the important lesson of Failing Upwards.

And when we face issues that we are not sure about, we can open the Bible and see what Scripture, God’s Gift really says. We can trust His Word in all things, and that even when we do slip up and discover the Devil in the Bottom of the Bottle, God will forgive and restore us. When we have doubt storms we can weather them with faith.

And at the Heart of it All, we can see that God’s Grace is all embracing, even if it seems too good to be true.

May 2014 be a year filled with His richest blessings for you and your loved ones.
